“Accountant of the Year”
Simone Palfreyman, principal of the National award-winning firm, Palfreyman Chartered Accountants, was recognised in the Women in Finance Awards as the WINNING “Accountant of the Year” for 2019. The highly-esteemed Women in Finance Awards are a celebration of women’s skills, leadership, and tenacity in the finance industry and showcase how the top female professionals have shaped and influenced financial services in Australia.
The “Accountant of the Year” award is considered the most prestigious female accounting award in Australia, and so to be recognised as the winner of this award showcases not only Simone’s exceptional contribution to the Finance industry but also highlights the strengths that Hunter Region businesses can offer to the Australian business community. Palfreyman Chartered Accountants is proud to be the recipient of an award that reinforces the importance of business communities, education, and clients’ engagement. Palfreyman Chartered Accountants were also proud to be finalists in another six categories: Simone Palfreyman was a finalist in the “Principal of the Year” and “Thought Leader of the Year” categories. At the same time, our Firm was named in the “Wellness Program/Initiative of the Year” and “Women’s Community Program of the Year” sections. Our Administration Manager, Olivia, was also selected for the “Young Leader of the Year” award.
