Stephen Renfrey

Stephen is Senior Accountant at Palfreyman Chartered Accountants and is a Provisional Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle, and brings strong technical knowledge and a commitment to accuracy and detail in his work with clients.

During his studies, Stephen was recognised for academic excellence, receiving the David Savage Prize for Microeconomics for Business, awarded to the top performing student in the course. This achievement recognises his analytical ability and passion for understanding the economic and financial drivers behind business decision making. Stephen was also named on the University’s College Commendation List in 2021.

Stephen is dedicated to building his career as a trusted accountant and advisor, continually expanding his knowledge and practical skills. He values delivering accurate, timely and practical support to clients to help them achieve clarity and confidence in their business goals. 

When not working or studying, you can usually find Stephen with
his wife and their two dogs. He is a keen Formula 1 fan, plays tennis and has completed the 655km Australian Alps Walking Track
